Most of the highlighting kits you buy at the grocery store read something like this.
They normally come with a applicator bottle with developer, the color itself that you mix in with the developer and they come with an applicator.
You just kind of comb through.
Another difference between the home method and the method i use is, i use tin foil and a brush to apply the highlights.
So i think this method would be a little more uniform and you get more natural effects.
